The Hangout 101 N Schuyler St. Lena

WIN CLUB - Members Only

Entry into the WIN CLUB is never guaranteed.  Wrestlers who have a spot in the club have to earn it and there is little room for error.

The first step is committing to the long grind of the tournament schedule.  Even with no loses, earning 30 wins will take most of the scheduled tournaments, while 40 wins will most definitely involve a trip to the State Tournament.

The challenge is recognizing the fact that this membership is partially out of your control.

Weekend matches must be wrestled ... and won.  Byes do not count!  Every bye in a bracket takes another potential win off the table and reduces the number of loses allowed.

Can injuries be avoided?  Wrestlers who want their names listed in this club can not afford to miss tournaments with injuries or sickness.  The first challenge is even being able to wrestle in enough matches in the season.  The second challenge is taking care of business every single chance there is.

Reaching 30 wins is an impressive accomplishment.  Forty wins puts you in rare company!  It doesn’t matter.  When your hand goes up for the 30th time in a single season, your membership is granted.  If you want your name on a level rarely seen, you have to reach 40 or more!

A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done. - Vince Lombardi

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential - these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence. - Eddie Robinson

There are three types of people in this world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened. We all have a choice. You can decide which type of person you want to be. I have always chosen to be in the first group. - Mary Kay Ash
